Icons are not just the preference thing. I mean sure, they are, like everything is, but the thing with the 3d models was that they looked the same in the campaign as in the battle map. Same for buildings. It helped connect the two(campaign and battles) and felt like they are both part of the same world, deepening the immersion in it. That's also why people loved settlement viewer in Rome, or the fact that how terrain looked on the battles was connected to how it looked on the campaign map. It all just feels like one world. With the stylized icons on the other hand – sure, they look neat, but that distinctly differentiates the 'worlds' of campaign and the battles, units are not units anymore they are 'cards', as well as icons of the 'buildings' are just.. well that – icons. It's a management thing now, not building an empire, at least that's how it felt to me.

Is there a mod for building tiles? Like making them 3-D looking?
Also I feel a mod which removes the ability for armies to use rafts and rely on navies might be good.

Rome total war 2 lacks the Army effects on city population, like when you move a huge army near your city the pops got scared.

That wife dying bug is annoying but I've found that once your faction leader dies, if you get the heir to marry, their wife doesn't die straight away. At least not on my campaign so far…

Hey great video as always! I was playing Attila again recently and I was too infuriated with the performance issues so I looked for a solution.
I found several ways to improve performance which included increasing the number of your CPU cores that the game used, increasing and VRAM limit and so on.
But none of this really helped me. Then I found a post about using the thrones of Britannia shaders in Attila using the TW mod editing tool (I can't remember the name) which also didn't work and messed up my game.
In the end I was back at getting sub 60fps and even below 30 a lot of the time alongside stuttering despite using an RTX 3070.
I was wondering if you found any way to improve performance and if you did, may I suggest you make a video on it sometime?
